Description
GTA: Liberty City Beta 4.0 - full GTA III conversion for GTA: Vice City. Since GTA: Vice City was released, work has begun on moving the world of GTA III to a new game engine. You have the opportunity to play with the functions of GTA VC (for example: motorcycles, helicopters, the ability to kill the passengers of vehicles and sweep tires). Although there is much in common between the two game engines, there are quite complex differences, and people are still working on the project.
Start
Fashion requires the original version of GTA: Vice City and GTA III. The installer will remove and replace files, so do not forget to backup the original copy of the game (if you need it). After running the installer, you need to copy the audio files from GTA III to the audio installation folder. You must run gta-lc.exe to run the mod (not gta3.exe).
What's new in beta version 4.0
Starting with beta version 3.3, the project has made tremendous progress in accurately converting functions from GTA III to GTA: Features that have been completely converted include:
- All missions
- All taps,
- Drawbridge
- Sound effects of transport,
- Codes of operations that were used in GTA III,
- Almost all effects of ped sounds
- Special scripts sound effects for special characters!
- Blur effects in motion,
- Weather shade
- Almost all cheats
- The whole cycle of scripts
- Auto-alarm,
- Police scanner audio for zones and vehicles.
What will happen in the future
This is not the latest version of the mod. The main functions that are missing in the release or need further work in the future:
- Animation of the head in the cutscene
- The behavior of the machine-crusher
- Train behavior
- Statistics,
- Textures.
